Terms of Service
Stormyard is a browser game that is free to play. You can buy coins to spend on cosmetic items. By playing you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, please do not play.
1. Guests and accounts
You can play as a guest without an account. An optional account lets you earn experience and battle pass rewards, keep your statistics, and own items. You are responsible for keeping your password safe. One account per person; accounts cannot be sold or transferred.
2. Fair play
Do not cheat, use bots or modified clients, exploit bugs, attack the service, or harass other players. Names must not be offensive, impersonate others, or contain personal data. We may remove names, suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and in serious cases remove what they own, without a refund.
3. Coins, items and the battle pass
Coins are a virtual currency. You can buy them in packs, and earn a small number by playing and from the battle pass. Coins can only be used in Stormyard to unlock cosmetic items (outfits, weapon wraps, gliders) and the premium battle pass. Cosmetic items never affect gameplay.
Coins and items are a licence to use digital content in the game; they are not your property, have no value outside the game, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be transferred to another account. Prices are shown before you buy and include VAT.
A battle pass belongs to a season, whose end date is shown in the game. Rewards you have unlocked stay yours after the season ends; the pass itself does not carry over.
4. Your right of withdrawal, and refunds
If you live in the EU/EEA you normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. Coins are digital content that we deliver immediately. When you buy them you are asked to confirm that you want immediate delivery and that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal; the purchase cannot go through without that confirmation.
This does not affect your rights if something goes wrong: if coins you paid for did not arrive, if you were charged twice, or if the content is faulty, contact us at and we will put it right or refund you. If a payment is reversed or charged back, the coins it bought are removed from your account.
Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
5. Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time in the game (Account, then Delete my account). This removes your account and everything in it, including unspent coins and items, and cannot be undone. Unspent coins are not refunded when you delete an account yourself.
6. Changes to the game, and ending the service
We keep improving the game and may change, rebalance or remove content, modes and rules. If we ever stop running Stormyard, we will announce it in the game at least 60 days in advance and stop selling coins at that moment, and we will refund coins bought in the last 60 days before the announcement that are still unspent.
7. Content and ownership
The game, its code, art and names are ours or used under licence (see the credits). Third-party assets are used under their licences (mostly CC0), the Three.js library under the MIT licence. You may not copy, sell or redistribute the game or its assets.
8. Liability
We provide the game as is and as available, and matches can be interrupted by outages or maintenance. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your rights as a consumer.
9. Age
The game is for players aged 13 and over. Players under 18 need permission from a parent or guardian to make purchases.
10. Changes to these terms, and law
We may update these terms; for changes that matter to you we will tell you in the game before they apply. These terms are governed by the laws of . If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory law where you live, and can bring a case in your own courts.
